The wind power industry has launched the "Year of Sailing Away" and wind turbine blade transport ships continue to move from Shanghai Nangang to the world

In recent days, international freight ships transporting wind turbine blades and accessories have continued to leave Shanghai Nangang Port, and wind turbine enterprises in Shanghai Lingang Industrial Park have accelerated their pace of "going to sea" to compete in the international wind power market.

On the morning of February 12th at 8:00 am, the Singaporean ship "Ruyi 2" carrying 18 wind turbine blades and 503 supporting accessories sailed to Japan at Shanghai Nangang Port. At 1:30 pm, the Hong Kong based "Ming Qin" ship arrived in Hong Kong and will depart for New Zealand after installing 42 wind turbine blades and 800 supporting accessories in Hong Kong. The Yangshan Border Inspection Station is closely organized to ensure the orderly connection of the entry and exit procedures of the two ships, and to assist the wind power equipment manufactured in Shanghai to go global.

From simply exporting blades to exporting blades and complete sets of accessories, from exporting to Southeast Asian countries to exporting to Japan, New Zealand, and the export of wind turbine equipment at the Nangang Port in Shanghai, it is a microcosm of China's hard power improvement and increasing stability in the overseas market. According to the reporter's understanding from the wind power industry, in recent years, China's wind power equipment exports have grown rapidly. Currently, about 60% of wind power equipment in the global market is produced in China. Since 2015, the composite annual growth rate of the export installed capacity of wind power equipment has exceeded 50%. In 2023, under the "dual drive" of energy security strategies and "carbon neutrality" demand of countries around the world, overseas wind power is expected to show a high growth trend, and China's wind power industry will start the momentum of "going to sea".
