Recently, Xinjiang Yue Hydroelectric Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xinjiang Yue Hydroelectric"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangdong Hydroelectric Second Bureau Co., Ltd., and the People's Government of Sakya County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region, signed the "Sakya County Yue Hydroelectric 1.5GW Solar Thermal Storage and Multi energy Complementary Project Investment Framework Agreement". Xinjiang Guangdong Hydropower plans to invest in the construction of a 1.5GW solar thermal storage and multi energy complementary project in Sakya County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region, with a total investment of approximately 9.8 billion yuan.
