           From January to May, the industrial power generation of Yunnan Province above designated size reached 121.718 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year decrease of 8.0%. Among them, hydropower accounted for 77.51 billion kilowatt hours, a decrease of 20.8%; Thermal power reached 27.728 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 31.1%; Wind power generation reached 14.522 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 20.0%; Solar power generation reached 2.317 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 35.9%. In May, thermal power generation reached 7.002 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 141.5%, reaching a new high since November 2009。
