2022 is a significant year for China's wind power industry. Firstly, offshore wind power has performed outstandingly, with 6.8GW of newly installed offshore wind power in China in 2022, accounting for 72.34% of the world's newly installed offshore wind power capacity that year. In 2022, a series of policy documents were issued at the national and local levels to encourage the development of offshore wind power. In addition, with abundant offshore wind resources and the acceleration of far-reaching offshore development, offshore wind power projects are expected to become the main force of future wind power projects; Secondly, decentralized wind power has entered a new stage of development through policies, bringing green power into thousands of townships and villages; Thirdly, the "replacing small with large" project promotes the upgrading of old wind turbines and injects new impetus into old projects; Fourthly, the approval system has been changed to the filing system, and the project approval procedures have been greatly simplified, ushering in the development opportunity for decentralized wind power. In addition, policies such as excluding new renewable energy from the total energy consumption assessment and accelerating the construction of a unified national electricity market have also provided a "strong shot" for the future development of the wind power industry. In the field of capital markets, the frequency and total volume of wind power market transactions have significantly increased in 2022, with the scale of offshore wind power asset transactions steadily increasing. With the improvement of consumption patterns and the development of new energy REITs, the future wind power asset trading market will undoubtedly become more active.
