On the 3rd, the reporter learned from the China Sany Heavy Energy International Project Department that Sany Heavy Energy's first landing project in Central Asia - the Kazakhstan Alkarek 48MW wind power project. As of now, the first batch of wind power equipment has been successfully shipped to the project site.

On March 31, 2023, under the careful coordination and cooperation of all parties in China, the first unit components of Sany Heavy Energy Kazakhstan Alkalek 48MW Wind Power Project were successfully shipped from Khorgos Port. At present, vehicles carrying Sany heavy energy wind turbines have traveled over 2000 kilometers and successfully arrived at the project site, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent progress of the project.

The equipment of the project is manufactured by Sany Heavy Energy Beijing Nankou Main Machine Factory and Hebei Zhangjiakou Blade Factory respectively. The Sany Heavy Energy International Project Department commands relevant domestic and foreign carriers to complete the shipment task, and arrives at Khorgos Port in Yili Prefecture, Xinjiang via Hebei, Inner Mongolia and Gansu, and then arrives at the Kazakhstan Alkalek Wind Power Project site from Khorgos Port.

The construction of Kazakhstan's Alkarek 48MW wind power project includes 10 highly reliable 4.8MW wind turbines built by Sany Heavy Energy. The wind turbine blades are 82 meters long, making them the longest blades in transportation within Kazakhstan to date.

According to the relevant person in charge of China Sany Heavy Energy International Project Department, during the transportation, the company was most worried about the blades needed for the project, mainly because of the long distance and many irresistible factors along the way. The transportation team in charge overcame the bad weather, strong wind, heavy rain and many bends and culverts in Guozigou, and successfully arrived at Khorgos Port in 8 days.

After the project is fully completed, it can provide about 170 million kilowatt hours of clean electricity to the local area every year, with an annual power generation capacity that meets the electricity demand of over 12000 families of three for a year, and can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 176000 tons. China Sany Heavy Energy integrates Sany Group's global service and engineering equipment strategic resources, contributing to Kazakhstan's clean energy transformation and achieving the goal of "carbon neutrality".

Sany Heavy Energy is responsible for the production and domestic and foreign transportation of all equipment of the project. A total of about 120 vehicles of equipment are transported from Khorgos Port to the project site in Kazakhstan. The project is scheduled to be put into power generation operation in November 2023.
