China has become the world's largest wind power market

On the power generation side, according to the disclosure of the National Energy Administration, as of 2021, China's wind power generation capacity will be 6526GWh, with a compound growth rate of 25% in 2011-2021, accounting for 7.9% of the country's total power generation from 1.5% in 2011; On the installation side, the cumulative installed capacity of wind power in China will be 328GW in 2021, and the compound growth rate will be 22% in 2011-2021, accounting for 13.8% of the total installed capacity of power generation equipment in China, up from 4.4% in 2011. It is second only to hydropower in clean energy, and has become the main clean energy in China.

According to GWEC (Global Wind Energy Association), in 2021, China's newly added wind power installed capacity was 47.6GW, accounting for 51% of the global total newly added wind power installed capacity. In terms of offshore wind power, both the new and cumulative installed capacity of offshore wind power rank first in the world.
